Our Tuesday Evening Schedule
A range of great classes with music for beginners & experienced dancers alike - Doors open from 7:30pm
8:00pm - Beginners
Join the class to learn & improve your dancing with a 3-4 move beginners routine in the main hall. Experienced crew are on hand to help absolute beginners during the class.
8.30pm - Practice
During the first freestyle session, practice what you've learnt during the beginners class. The crew are on hand if you need any help or just warm up ready for the next class.
8.45pm - Intermediates
Join a challenging class for those who’ve been dancing 8-12+ weeks and are comfortable freestyle dancing. A consolidation / improver class runs separately for less experienced dancers.
9.15pm - Freestyle
Lights down, music up, it’s time for all levels of dancer to join in, socialise, practice and enjoy the freestyle to a wide range of great music until 10:30pm.
Stacey
Monthly Teacher
Stacey is a qualified teacher with more than 7 years teaching experience. She teaches monthly with a clear & fun style for her classes with a West Coast Swing influence.
Alex
Monthly Teacher
Alex is a qualified teacher, enjoying the slotted, smooth West Coast Swing style. He teaches monthly and particularly appreciates how Modern Jive adapts to include other dance styles and music.
Nick
Beginners Instructor
Nick is a long term dancer and crew member, teaching our beginner consolidation classes. His amusing way with words keeps dancers relaxed and at ease as they learn & develop their dancing.
Guests
Guest Teachers
Highly experienced guest teachers are invited to teach the intermediate class every 6 weeks or so, providing a variety of styles such as Advanced Jive, Blues & Jango.
